Pentruder MDU3 Core drill
The MDU3 which comes in three different models, is a stand-alone 3-phase Core drill which doesn’t need a powerpack.
All models have the same high power and a very wide range of spindle speed making the MDU3 extremely versatile for all kinds of drilling jobs.
MDU3-30: for core bits up to 300 mm with a rpm range from 200 to 1800 and 60 Nm
MDU3-60: for core bits up to 600 mm with a rpm range from 100 to 900 and 120 Nm
MDU3-100: for core bits up to 1000 mm with a rpm range from 50 to 450 and 200 Nm
All models have the same high power and a very wide range of spindle speed making the MDU3 extremely versatile for all kinds of drilling jobs.

4 Choose correct gear

Choose correct gear for the blade size, if applicable. See chart in operator's manual. Make sure blade has stopped before changing gear. Don't stop it by hand! I am a concrete cutting operator here in the US operating Pentruder wall saw. I just want to ask if you can also give a short tutorial video like this for for proper steps of using the wire saw. it will give huge help for an operator who pays attention to detail like me. This video helped me a lot for using the pentruder wall saw with 100% accuracy and safely get the job done efficiently. Pls let me know as soon as possible if you have it already. Thank you
Thanks for the positive feedback! We are actually working ona a video like this also for the wire saw. However, it is much more complicated than for a wall saw, since the set up can differ so much. pentruders are awesome. ive been using one for over a year now. that thing is a beast.
I love my 8-20 hf. Nothing comes close. Arix or array segments love to eat steel but we experience blade tension issues when tracking bars. So we use Tyrolit blades as they eat anything. We always drag the blade through the cut (unlike in your video) and have not had a problem thus far.
Haha, we ordered our MDU core drill in the end of last year, but still it hasn't finnished any hole on the field ;D But hope to get it soon, it will for sure be a great piece of equipment, just like the wall saws!

A lot of technology to cut concrete, but that machine is only as good as the operator
